Project Overview: This portfolio entry showcases the remarkable transformation of a 2000 Acura Integra that had been parked and neglected for several years. The owner, Kareem, entrusted us with the task of breathing new life into this classic vehicle, aiming to restore it to its former glory while incorporating modern enhancements for improved performance and aesthetics
Background: Kareem's Acura Integra, a model renowned for its performance and style in the late '90s and early 2000s, had been sitting unused for an extended period. The car suffered from major cosmetic wear and tear, and outdated technology, making it a prime candidate for a comprehensive restoration..
Objective: The primary goal was to fully restore the Acura Integra, addressing all cosmetic issues, updating its features, and ensuring it met current automotive standards. Kareem wanted to preserve the vehicle's classic appeal while enhancing its performance and reliability.
Project challenge
Cosmetic Restoration: Removed rust and repaired body damage to restore the car's structural integrity. Applied a fresh coat of paint matching the original color, reviving the Integra's iconic look. Refurbished the interior, including seats, dashboard, and carpets, to bring back the new-car feel.
Upgrade: Installed a modern audio system and integrated the latest navigation and connectivity features. Upgraded lighting to LED for improved visibility and aesthetics. Upgraded the supension to lowered the car giving it a more sporty look, along with some sporty rims to match and the windows were tinted.
Final Touches and Quality Check: Performed a detailed cleaning and detailing service, emphasizing the car's lines and features. Conducted a comprehensive quality check to ensure all systems were functional and met our high standards.
